Beginning

To get started, I was born in Allentown, PA, on March 21, 1970.  I really dig my birthday because it is the vernal equinox and the first day of the astrological year; which makes me an Aries. Family

My family, which consists of my parents who have been married for 34 years, and my 29 year old brother, moved to California in 1974.  In August of 1998 my parents moved to Maryland which is close to my brother in Washington D.C.

From age 4 to 14 I lived in Fountain Valley, CA and went to a private elementary school in Newport Beach called Carden Hall.  My neighborhood was filled with girls my age and at school I grew very close to many people.  In fact every five years I have a reunion for my 8th grade class.  The girls in my neighborhood and I were all crazy about Duran Duran and of course at the time I thought I would grow up to marry Simon LeBon or Jason Bateman (from the time I saw him on Silver Spoons ... I am still holding out for that one ... it could happen! hahahahahaaaaa) Teen Years

Right before high school started my family moved to Newport Beach so I could attend Corona del Mar High School.  I am one of those people who didn't think high school was that bad.  I had a big group of girl friends that I did everything with, I knew everyone in school and was in every club possible.  I went to tennis camp every summer and eventually became a counselor at the Big Bear Tennis Ranch. I was really big into photography and yearbook and in my senior year went to a journalism convention in Kansas City, Kansas which leads me to college.

After high school I attended Orange Coast College for a year but I was still so in love with Kansas from my trip my senior year that I decided to attend the University of Kansas, in Lawrence.  I adored living there.  I didn't work too hard in school but I made some fantastic life-long friends and got very interested in student government.  I stayed there longer than I should have because of my friends and student senate.  But when I realized I just had no idea what I wanted to peruse for the rest of my life I dropped out, traveled a bit and wound up back in California.  After working for a while I knew I had to figure out what I wanted to do and go back to school.  People had always told me I should be a party planner.   So I moved to the Inland Empire and enrolled in the School of Hotel & Restaurant Management at California State Polytechnic University at Pomona.  Present

There came a time in my life when I had to just grow up, which brought me to Las Vegas, Nevada.  I moved there in June of 1999 and got a job as a web designer. When things didn't work out I packed it all up once again and in February 2000 I moved to Maryland to live with my family. For two months I enjoyed being close to my family again but when a job offer to be a web designer in New York arose I just couldn't pass it up. I enjoyed living and working in NY for almost 2 years. I made some great friends and met a man I have fallen in love with, David. Unfortunately due to the World Trade Center disaster our jobs here were eliminated and the job market is scarce so in February 2002 I along with David moved back to DC and are once again close to my family. :)
